Terms and Conditions 

All of the membership rules contained herein apply equally to members, temporary members and guests alike. 

• Fees once paid will not be refunded in any event whatsoever by the management. 

• Payment done for a product/package/service cannot be adjusted against another product/ package/service. 

• Cheque Dishonour Charges will be applicable in case payments made by Cheque. 

• Membership may be renewed on payment of the prevailing fee and in accordance with the terms and conditions then in force. Member can upgrade their membership plan by paying the balance amount within 20 days of joining the club. 

• Member must present upon entering the club his/her membership card and punch in the biometric machine. Member agrees that member may be denied access to the club failing to do so. 

• To protect the interests of its business and for the safety and consideration of other members, club reserves the right to terminate the membership.  Reasons for terminating include behaviour deemed improper, including but not limited to physical acts of violence against another member or staff, vulgar language, unauthorised sale or conduct of services such as personal training, unauthorised sale of goods, monetary gain and/or behaviour found to be in breach of the terms and conditions contained herein or any posted rules and regulations throughout the club. No refund in respect of any fees paid will be made. 

• In the event of a breach of membership rules and regulations, the Club reserves the right of admission and may reserve the right to require any member or guest to leave the premises. Any member found in breach of rules or committing an illegal act, including theft, will be asked to permanently leave the club and be barred from ever entering the club again. In the case where the facility or its contents are damaged, you will remain responsible for the repair or replacement thereof. 

• As a member you agree to comply with the rules of the club with regards to the use of the facilities, opening hours and your conduct. The club may make reasonable changes to these rules, from time to time.  

• Any kind of pending payment must be cleared within 20 days from the date of generation of the invoice, any delay in payment will result in denial of the use of club services. 

• You may, at your discretion and expense, obtain personal insurance for loss, injury or damage that you might sustain arising from the use of the club. You exercise at your discretion and accept any injury or illness brought on by exercise is your responsibility. 

• Outside food is not allowed in the club premises.  

• If you have an annual membership you may freeze time on your membership for a medical reason. Memberships can be frozen for 1 month only once during the membership tenure on the production of a valid medical certificate. Once you resume any usage of the CLUB the freeze will terminate. Time of any freeze will be credited to the end of your membership’s original terms. An administrative charge would be applicable for freezing your membership. 

• The club reserves the right to vary the opening hours as considered necessary for the proper operation of the club. 

• The club will not be responsible for loss or damage to any personal property of the members. All lost property will be kept for 3 weeks before being disposed of. 

• Lockers are provided for the use of members. The club will have no liability for goods taken from the changing rooms or lockers. 

• Members are requested to clear the lockers post-workout. Members who fail to do so are liable to find that the lockers are opened and locker contents removed. Removal of such items is strictly at the member’s own risk. 

• All members and guests of the club must wear appropriate sports attire and footwear when using the club facilities and maintain the behavioural decorum. 

• Members are requested not to drop or throw weights. Kindly re-rack the dumbbells and attachments after the workout. Workout cautiously with all equipment so as not to cause injury to themselves, others or damage the equipment. 

• If you feel dizzy, faint, unwell or feel any unusual pain then you must stop physical activity and inform a member or staff immediately. 

• The club shall remain closed during National holidays and festivals. 

• Member involved in any activities offered by Ultrex Recreational Club may be photographed or video graphed. The members hereby consent to the use of these photographs and videos without compensation, on the Ultrex Recreational Club website, social media or in any editorial, promotional or advertising material produced or published by Ultrex Recreational Club. 

• No smoking and obscenity in club premises.  

• Photo/video recording using cameras and other devices including mobile phone are prohibited within club premises. 

• The Club may be temporarily closed for periods of upto 2 weeks each year for maintenance purposes. 

• Non-marking gum sole shoes for badminton and table tennis to be changed in shoe changing area and to be used inside badminton courts/ table tennis area only. Separate clean shoes to be used inside the gym to maintain hygiene. Wearing wrong shoes would attract a penalty of INR 500 for each person be it members or their guests. 

• For safety standards, CCTV has been installed at the club. 

• Members and guests with the following conditions should not use steam rooms- low/high blood pressure, cardiac irregularities, asthma and pregnancy or any other ailment. 

• Use of facilities like badminton, table tennis, group classes etc. are subject to availability. In case of waiting, players can occupy the courts/sports facility for a maximum of 1 hr. after which they must let the players waiting to use the facility. 

• Transfer of membership is allowed only for the yearly plan, subject to the approval of the Club management. An administrative charge would be applicable for transferring membership. 

• Members understand that the Club prohibits the use of any drugs or steroids and member agree not to use any drugs or steroids inside the Club premises.  Member acknowledges and is aware that steroids can cause numerous physical, mental and emotional problems relating to physical maturity and growth and may cause heart disease, strokes, liver dysfunction, sterility and infertility and many other adverse health problems. Member recognizes and acknowledges that there are serious criminal and civil penalties for the illegal possession, sale, use, trading or exchange of steroids and no such activity is allowed upon Club premises. 

• All disputes are subject to Gurugram Jurisdiction. 

• Members are required to sign in their guest/s at the reception before entering the Club. Member shall make the guest/s fee payment/s upfront while signing in at the reception. Guest/s shall only be allowed in the club when accompanied by the member. If guest entry is not made by the member as per required process at the reception for any reason whatsoever, a penalty of INR 2000 will be levied on the member for each guest and warning would be issued to the member flouting the rules. 

• Any workshop, events, tournaments, private lessons/coaching will be charged extra as applicable and participation in such activity is subject to the approval of the Club management. 

• Ultrex Recreational Club retains the right to modify these policies without warning. Reasonable rules and regulations may be posted at the Club from time to time. The most current copy of the Terms and Conditions can be found at the Club notice board.
